Ft Lauderdale Wreck Trek and Reef or Wreck Double dip (2 Tank OPEN WATER)

Dive Sites are subject to current and weather conditions. The captain has final say on Dive locations. The Wreck Trek Ft. Lauderdale is a unique three-wreck drift dive that includes the Jay Scutti, Tracey, and Merci Jesus wrecks. Depending on current conditions, divers typically start on either the Jay Scutti or Merci Jesus and make their way between the wrecks using rebar stakes placed in the sand as underwater guideposts. The wrecks are spaced about 200 feet apart, making it possible to explore two or even all three in one dive. This site offers more than just great wreck structure and marine life—it’s also a fun test of your navigational skills. Each wreck is worth exploring on its own, and when the current is favorable, the full trek makes for an exhilarating ride through South Florida’s vibrant underwater world. Just be sure to manage your dive flag carefully to avoid tangling on the wrecks—many divers opt to tie it off during their time on each wreck, retrieving it before moving on to the next.
