Hydrotherapy was born out of a necessity for a unique bespoke dive operator in the Broward County area. Running out of Hillsboro Inlet, Hydrotherapy Dive Charters is dedicated to running safe, reliable, comfortable dive charters for our clients. While on your trip, our crew will provide soft drinks and water, as well as a surface interval snack while you pass the time between dives. If you are a new diver, or just new to the area and need of a guide for any specific dive, we have you covered. For our technical divers we offer in water bottle service to collect your extra deco/bottom gas cylinders while you drift to decompress.

Landon Lasseter MD MS MBA – Owner
Having over a decade of experience in the dive industry, and a lifetime of experience in varying business ventures, Landon brings a diversified background and unique perspective to Hydrotherapy Dive Charters. Landon’s passion for diving began with a trip to Honduras and he has been hooked ever since. Landon has been an instructor since 2012, with current instructor ratings from SDI, TDI, FRTI, RAID and previous instructor ratings for IANTD, SNSI, SSI, and NAUI. Teaching for multiple agencies, his courses range from recreational to the technical, including trimix to CCR, professional level courses, and as a trained healthcare professional, a BLS Instructor through the AHA.
In his spare time, he can often be found exploring the many wrecks and reefs the Fort Lauderdale area has to offer, on Hydrotherapy of course, or cave diving in North Florida. Landon is also a partner in Deep6, a dive equipment manufacturing company, and holds additional certifications and training including BLS, ACLS, PALS, DMAC L1 (Medical Examiner of Divers), and DMAC 2D (Physicians Training in Diving Medicine).
Always learning, Landon continually expands his base of knowledge to share with customers, clients, and students. Having an exploratory nature, his diving activities have taken him from Grenada in the Caribbean, to Spain, all the way to Indonesia for research.


John Cassidy – Managing Partner
With decades of experience in the dive industry, John Cassidy brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to Hydrotherapy Dive Charters. As a seasoned dive instructor, boat captain, and scuba equipment technician, he has dedicated his career to ensuring divers have safe, memorable, and well-supported experiences in the water. His passion for diving began in San Diego, where he grew up surrounded by the ocean, and has since taken him on expeditions across the world, from the reefs of Florida to the legendary shipwreck graveyard of Truk Lagoon. Becoming a certified scuba instructor in 2019, John now holds instructor ratings with SSI, SDI, TDI, and PADI, teaching everything from introductory courses to advanced and technical diving.
When not leading charters or teaching, John enjoys kicking back with his golden retriever and exploring new dive destinations. He also organizes group dive trips to premier locations like Bonaire, Wakatobi, Fiji, and the Philippines, helping divers experience some of the best underwater environments in the world.
